I was served a layered non-alcoholic drink at a church camp a few years ago and cannot find the recipe. I know it had orange juice and grenadine, and some ofther ingredient. It was served in a tall, thin shaped wine glass and had three distinct layers. You drank it without stirring it, and the three layers eventually mixed together by the end of the glass. I would love to make this for an Easter Brunch. Somebody out there has to know the third ingredient and can help me Please!

I know you are supposed to avoid alcoholic beverages, but I thought I heard somewhere that it was o.k. to occasionally consume a small glass of wine. I’m not a drinker, but have been craving the taste.

Please don’t lecture. I know it is not good to drink at all during pregnancy. But with my family at the holiday time I would like to sip on no more than 6 or 8 oz of an alcoholic beverage. So my question is do you think is it worse to drink a glass of red wine, or a Mikes hard lemonade (5% alc)?

I have heard that red wine offers some health benefits. I enjoy an occasional drink during the evening and was wondering if red wine is a better than white wine or other alcoholic drinks. Thanks!

I am 14 and i av bin invited to a sleepova with a distant friend. i wud luv 2 go bt i know tht there iz gonna b alchol. i have a glass of wine every now and agen bt i really dont want to drink at the sleepova. my bestfriend is going and a few of the party holders other friends are goin but i bet every1 will get drunk and i wont or they will force me to drink. wot shud i do. go or not?

Lemon Drop Drink Daddy Portable Wine and Beverage Station

Right now my fiance & I are working on our guest list for our wedding. We have cut out a few family members that I know will just drink like fish & cause problems. But a few people we have cut out are people I know that will try to get my father to drink.
Ever since I was little just about every photo I have of my father is him drunk. He came drunk to soccer games. Or just plain didn’t come because Saturday was a major drinking day. He came drunk to my high school graduation. I never had friends over because I know my father would be a lush & make comments about them being good looking. (these are 15 + year old girls) It just really really bothers me my fathers drinking. I don’t want our wedding (that we are paying for he isn’t) to be just another drunken day for my father. I want him to remember every single detail. He will be allowed to have a glass of wine during the champagne toast. THAT IS ALL! I plan on telling me if he finds it that important to drink, then don’t come or if he does drink then LEAVE.

What’s the best way to talk to him about all this. Every time I talk to my mom she says
“ok” or “do you think its that bad” because she is to worried about making him mad. Or just wants people to believe their relationship is AOK. Very rarely will she make his drinking a problem (even if she knows it is)
He acts like because he has a very good job, bought us things. & never missed work because he was drunk/hung over its fine.
I really wish my father would have missed hoildays because he was out drunk. No he stayed at home & was drunk then at random got made started a fight etc. I hate Thanksgiving! I don’t remember a single Thanksgiving we ate as a family. My dad normally got mad at my mom threw his plate, we ate in silence. Hoping he passed out.
I want to drink & my wedding. I want to have fun at my wedding. The people we invited can handle light drinking.

I didn’t invite any uncle because if their isn’t drinking he won’t come. If there is drinking he will be doing shots or will have 2 beers in each hand at all times like he did at his daughters wedding.
